Audience Questionnaire

Once we finished our opening sequence, we had a screening for our target audience to come in, watch our production and fill out a survey. A large group turned up and 26 members of the audience filled out a feedback questionnaire. Below is a summary of the responses we got:

Comparing the old sequence to the current sequence.

A week ago this is what our sequence looked like:

Things that have changed since:
  • Clips alternate between Georgia speaking and the flashback rather than her speaking in one big chunk and the flashback happening afterwards in one big chunk.
  • GPH Productions at the start appears
  • Changed 'Scripted by...' to 'Screenplay by...'
  • Added slow motion to a few clips including the pan to Deniz and the attack
  • The scene ends with Georgia saying 'Can I have a minute please?' and the music stops completely whilst she says this, but fades back in again during 'The Safehouse' title.

The day before the deadline.

We're aiming to get signed off a day in advance. Any snagging that needs to be done will take place during the triple lesson on Friday.

Today, we've got a 40 minute period in the edit suite, a 30 minute lunch session in the edit suite and an after school 1 hour session, just in case we don't get signed off during lunch.

By the end of lunch, we need to have finished the following things on our opening sequence:
  • 'Rec' and border on the shots of Georgia speaking.
  • Generally tidy up fades and cuts.
  • Ensure titles are perfect.
  • Ensure 'GPH Productions' is finished.
What next?
  • Start thinking about lunchtime screening next week of sequence.
  • Organise questionairres.
  • Tidy up blog - check labels etc.
  • Ensure all paperwork is uploaded to Scribd and put on the blog.
